About The Wax Museum

Come take a walk in time and experience history as never before.

Welcome to The Caribbean Wax Museum. The wax Museum was conceived and created by Barbadian Artist and Sculptor Arthur Edwards and partner Frances Ross. The idea was to capture lifesize popular Caribbean personalities in wax for posterity.

Here patrons could view, pose and take photos with these popular personalities.

Some personalities include the Late Prime Ministers of Barbados, The Honourable Errol Walton Barrow and J.M.G.M Tom Adams, Jamaican National Music Icon, Bob Marley, Jamaican National Hero Marcus Garvey, Local Barbadian calypso and folk singer The Mighty Gabby and Socca Diva Allison Hinds to name a few.
Each work was paintainstakingly hand crafted and molded by the Artist to create lifelike models. This venture is nothing new to the Artist as Arthur is a well known sculptor having created works in bronze and stone of other popular Barbadian personalities.

Come shake hands with some of the regions greatest Caribbean personalties. Stand next to Usain Bolt, Shake hands with the cricketining geniuses of of Brian Lara and Sir Garfield Sobers, and other personalities that rocked the very foundations of Caribbean countries creating memorable places in history.

Late Second Prime Minister of Barbados 1976 and 1985. Leader of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP)


Bob Nesta Marley

Jamaican Musical legend, and one of the first Rastsfarians of internation prominence


Marcus Garvey

Jamaican National Hero and Black Civil Rights Leader, political leader, publisher, journalist entrepreneur, and orator who was a proponent of the Pan-Africanism movement, to which end he founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League (UNIA-ACL)


Usain Bolt

Jamaican athelete and International celebrity, the fastest man ever clocked.


Allison Hinds

Barbadian Musical Socca Diva, with performances all over the Caribbean..


Emile Straker

Songwriter and Lead Vocalist of the now defunc MerryMen Band. Emile wrote and performen many popular tunes such as The Nut Seller, Beautiful Barbados, Big Bamboo, Big Rock and many others.


Mighty Gabby

Dr. Andreson Gabby Carter Barbadian Folk and Calypso Singer and song writer. Multi Calypso Monarch of Barbados.


Richard Branson

Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson is an English business magnate, investor, and philanthropist. He is best known as the founder of Virgin Group, which comprises more than 400 companies.
